Sicilian Roots

A personal illustration exploring the relationship between identity and nature. The figure and the cactus gradually merge into one another, blurring the boundary between body and landscape. Through vibrant colours, textured surfaces and simplified shapes, the work reflects on transformation, adaptation and the ways we are shaped by our surroundings.
