Italian Excellence: Illustrations for Italo Calvino

Selected among the winners of Italian Excellence: Illustrations for Italo Calvino, an international competition and exhibition organized by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair to celebrate the centenary of Italo Calvino’s birth. My illustration, inspired by The Baron in the Trees, was exhibited alongside works by established and emerging illustrators from around the world and included in the official exhibition catalogue.

Seeds of Kindness, Under the Same Sky

Winner of the Posterheroes Young Mention Award and selected for the Posterheroes 2026 Favini Calendar.

Created for the theme Seeds of Kindness, Under the Same Sky celebrates empathy through a simple act of care: a bird shelters different animals from the rain, turning natural rivals into companions. The illustration explores kindness as a force capable of creating unexpected connections and small but meaningful changes.

The artwork was featured in the Posterheroes 2026 Calendar and printed by Favini on Refit Denim paper.
